About me

Janice is a Trauma-informed, queer affirmative therapist who uses an eclectic approach to psychotherapy which borrows from CBT, REBT, SFBT, BT, EFT, IFS, and narrative therapy, among others, depending on what works best with the client. She works in areas such as  anxiety, depression, relationships, self-esteem, body image, work-life balance, and trauma. The therapeutic relationship is aimed at a collaborative, equal relationship with the client in which we try to address whatever the client wants to process and bring forward. The main focus is to create a safe, non-judgemental space for the client to explore what they wish to work on and discover/strengthen the tools to cope with it.
