About me

A healthy relationship with yourself is a prerequisite for healthy relationships with others. Relationships are challenging, especially when you’re conditioned to meet your parent’s and society’s expectations. Are you feeling pressured to find the perfect fit, or having trouble with dating apps, first dates, and maintaining a connection?

Have you found your partner, but you’re struggling with moving forward because you’re supposed to get an arranged married, or he/she is not the same race/religion? Or fear of committing to the wrong person?

Are you having trouble in your marriage and want to find ways to improve your connection, or you’ve decided you need a divorce, but the guilt and shame are holding you back?

We each have individual journeys and experiences which have shaped us to be where we are and who we are today. Every moment of our lives has influenced how we deal with this thing called life, and how we relate to others.  I specialize in anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, and South Asian mental health. I help individuals, couples, and families sort through current and past struggles to live a more balanced and fulfilling life, with more meaningful relationships. My approach to psychotherapy is culturally-sensitive and individualized to meet your needs. My approach involves exploration of your past experiences and relationships, and how they are impacting your current emotions and behaviors.

I work with individuals who want to improve the relationships in their lives, adjust through significant life transitions personally and professionally, or experience anxiety and depression. I also work with couples and families to gain insight into patterns, identify their needs, communicate effectively, and find constructive solutions.

To accommodate busy schedules, I offer flexible appointments, including evenings. It is essential that you feel I can assist you in your journey, so please take advantage of a free 15-minute phone consultation.
