About me

I identify as a Cisgender Queer British Bengali woman. I have a keen interest in the lived experiences of individuals. I pay particular attention to multicultural factors and intersecting identities. I specialize in working with those who have experienced various forms of trauma, anxiety, and depression among QBIPOC. As a Clinical Psychotherapist I have been working with patients in a clinical capacity for over 5 years. I have worked across a range of environments from university settings, hospitals, community mental health center, and now private practice. I am a Pre-licensed Psychotherapist working under supervision of Dr Stephanie Benedict.

My therapeutic style is non-judgmental, open, and collaborative. I approach each individual with respect and humility. My role is to assist my patients in working to achieve overall life improvement with lasting transformation and results. My orientation is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a strong Multicultural Framework. I am a Liberation psychologist and work from an anti-oppressive lens.

If you are looking for a present, inclusive, and sensitive therapist I encourage you to reach out for a free phone consultation. It would be an honor to work with you and be a part of your healing journey.
