About me

You’ve been through difficult experiences. Trauma has a way of making us drift through life, where we can’t be fully present. It can feel like you’re sleepwalking, and you know this isn’t who you want to be. You imagine a future where your own struggles, though difficult, could serve as a guiding light for others offering hope and solidarity. It’s like you can see the solution, the key, the way out. If you understand yourself, and can heal through the impact it all has had on you, it might be the path out.

I believe in the power of collaboration in therapy. With me, you’ll find a calming presence, an open heart, and a willingness to listen—not just to respond, but to understand. Our sessions are sprinkled with warmth and, when needed, a dash of humor to lighten the load. My diverse background, from navigating various cultures to transitioning through multiple careers, enriches our conversations, providing a broad perspective on life’s challenges.

My clinical approach is trauma-informed, somatic, and anti-oppressive.  This means I work with you to not only understand the trauma, but work through the impact trauma has had on your mind and body. I also approach my work from an anti-oppressive lens which means I actively examine the way privilege and power dynamics may play out in our relationship, while staying curious, humble, and open to your feedback.

If you are interested in working with me, I would love to hear from you.  I work for a practice, Healing Well Counseling, that will get you started when you call or email, or you can book directly through the calendar on my website profile:
