About me

Do you often think you’re not good enough? Does this make you feel anxious or sad? Perhaps this makes dating and relationships difficult for you. It might be affect how you are at work, you overthink things and feel like a failure? Perhaps you compare yourself to others which makes you feel worse?  This may have left you feeling on edge or feeling down and you don’t understand why. Together we can explore your feelings and experiences so you can make sense of this and live a more fulfilling life.

As a professional and compassionate therapist, I work with people like you, understand themselves, heal from the past and explore a different future. In my work this has helped clients with different challenges; improve their relationships, no longer feel trapped by past hurts, develop self-esteem, and overcome the anxiety holding them back.

As a therapist from a south Asian background I realise therapy is still taboo, as culturally, we’re taught to ignore emotions and get on with it. The fact that you’re reading my profile shows you want change. Have a look at my website or drop me an email to find out a bit more or ask me any questions.

My practice is based in Shoreditch and Mile End. I also offer remote sessions via zoom.

Qualifications & Practice Details

Years in Practice: 4

Member: BACP registered

I trained as an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist and draw from psychodynamic, person centred and CBT models of human development and change. When we meet, we will discuss what has brought you to therapy now and what your hopes are. Together we will use these different approaches to work in a way that suits you best.

My clinical work as a counsellor has been in a diverse range of settings; from the NHS’s IAPT service to a University, a LGBTQ+ charity and the private sector. I have experience in working with a wide range of presenting issues including: depression, anxiety, panic attacks, family issues, low self-esteem, relationship break ups, trauma, identity, abuse, anger and self-harm.
As well as my private practice, I work as a counselling consultant for a major record label supporting musicians with their mental health and well-being
