About me

I received my LPC in 2005. I feel privileged to have an opportunity to help you! When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. I am here to help you to make your pitcher of lemonade. We are always facing adversity in life, but some of us need help to deal with life’s challenges. I am here to use the skills I learned over the year to face your challenges. These past couple of years have been very tough on us, and I am not sure if we’re ever going to get to our normal routine again. However, we can make ourselves comfortable and accept our current situation and move on. I am here to help you. I love what I do! I am so glad you have an opportunity to get the help that you need to feel emotionally strong and face the world with confidence. Additionally, I like to work with children and adults who are struggling to adjust to a new culture. I moved here when I was a teenager and personally experienced how difficult it is to balance two cultures, one at home and one outside.

I make it very clear how I like to work, i.e., what is the problem that client is facing, what he/she have done or tried and what are the goals.

When I took my first course in psychology, I just fell in love with this subject. I was planning on becoming a pharmacist… glad I changed my mind. I was doing an internship in a Women’s Shelter in our area, and I was very much touched by how children are impacted by domestic violence. Hence my journey started to make them understand how to deal with adversity.
