About me

Sital is a Registered Social Worker with an MSW from the University of Toronto. She offers a client centered and trauma informed practice and incorporates anti-oppressive, feminist and intersectional lenses to her work. Sital has over 12 years experience working with individuals addressing complex trauma, domestic violence, high conflict situations, sexual assault, anxiety, depression, grief and loss. Her work has focused on intimate partner violence and the repercussions such violence has on the lives of women and families. Sital provides a nonjudgmental, confidential and secure space for clients as they navigate and start to work towards their therapeutic goals. As an experienced therapist working with complicated and intense emotions, Sital brings patience, calmness, and perspective, working with clients as they foster and enhance their skills and tools to better their lives.
