About me

I am a South Asian woman of colour, who has experience working through a culturally inclusive lens. Through my lived experience and growing up in a multicultural society, it has given me a unique ability to see cultures from a different viewpoint; both the importance of beliefs & values that come from our cultures, whilst also recognizing the internal conflicts they can cause us as individuals. I believe as mental health providers it is important to meet the diverse needs of individuals within the community.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. I hold a Master of Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University. I focus on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches to work with trauma and other mental health concerns. Additionally, I am trained in DBT and EMDR.

Starting therapy takes courage and can be a significant moment in one’s life. I provide a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space for my clients. I offer services in English and Punjabi. Healing from trauma and taking care of your mental health is an ongoing process, and it would be an honour to work with you and be a part of your healing journey. I encourage you to reach out for a free 20-minute phone consultation.
