Are your kiddos getting a little restless from surviving a major global disaster? Are you? The past year has been a painful lesson in the necessity of connection and relationships. You may feel emotionally isolated from others. You may find yourself struggling to find your voice in the face of injustices built into the framework of our society that affect AAPI and BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and neurodiverse individuals as well as others. Maybe your struggle is closer to home, and you want to support your kids or explore your own needs and values. If you’re curious about where to start, you’re in the right place.

I use person-centered counseling to invite you to lead our working relationship as an exploration of your needs and values. My lived experience as a Desi immigrant raised in the US may help me understand your story on a different level. Through telehealth counseling, we will talk through your experiences of culture and identity, and we’ll use expressive arts activities and sandtray therapy too. With children, I use child centered play therapy with toys and play as a medium of processing.

Your experiences as a South Asian-American are unique, and you’re worthy of receiving support for what concerns you from a counselor who understands you. The journey towards healing may be difficult, but it’s a journey we can go on together. I’m here to support you when you are ready to begin.
