About me

My practice was made to create a safe space for people to come together to be healed. I wanted to have a space where women of color felt welcomed and affirmed. I created this practice because I wanted to reduce the stigma around mental health, particularly in the Caribbean community where stigma is a barrier to accessing mental health. In order to thrive in therapy, one must be their authentic self and to make that a reality, I created a space where adolescent and women of color who having been seeking a therapist can be their true selves. Through the use of various psychotherapy methods and collaborative treatment measures, my patients develop life-changing habits to help them cope with any of life’s various obstacles. My style of communication is empathic, warm and direct.
