About me

Therapy is a way out of feeling helpless and hopeless. As your therapist, my priority is getting you results. I focus on building a genuine, empathetic, and positive relationship with you that will bring out your strengths and move you to a better place. Whether for you or a loved one, seeking help to improve your relationships, emotional regulation, and quality of life can be daunting. It’s normal to feel doubt. As a client-centered cognitive-behavioural therapist, I use a non-judgemental plan that considers the influence of traumatic memories on current issues. This will shed light onto solutions you haven’t seen before.

Are you struggling with anxiety, addiction, grief, or depression? Have you experienced trauma or abuse? Are you in a high-conflict relationship? Are you a first responder or front-line worker who is exposed to long-term stress? Have your or partner experienced betrayal in your marriage? Is your relationship being derailed by constant fighting and poor communication? The difficulties that we experience in life directly impact our ability to thrive. Taking the first steps to heal is difficult – I am here to help.

In therapy you can expect warmth, empathy, and very practical tools that can help you heal. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy can give you very powerful coping skills. EMDR is often effective for reducing and treating PTSD. Together, we will build a treatment plan best suited for your goals and circumstances. Together we will dive deep into self-knowledge and develop self-love. You will be able to overcome the fears, traumatic events, or family crisis that has perhaps left you feeling helpless and hopeless.

You are stronger than you know. You just need support and guidance you may not have had before. You can regain control over your life and emotional well-being. You can expect holistic help that looks at all of your needs and tailors a solution that will work best for you. Therapy for you will draw from tools that help you overcome negative self-talk, build healthier communication, and break free of addictions to gambling, alcohol, or other substances. If you are tired of trying to heal on your own, it’s time to come in and get some help. Let’s talk, and together we will come up with a plan to make a positive change.
