About me

TELEHEALTH SERVING ALL OF GEORGIA!

The generational trauma and overwhelming expectations a first generation American has to sift through can be incredibly complex. Maybe you recognize you have unlearning and reorienting to do, but you don’t know how. Or maybe you feel like you have to choose between the desires of your heart and the integrity of your culture. I want to help navigate these uncertainties with you because the truth is: you can grow as a person and still love where you came from.

Shannon strives to create a safe space to welcome your most authentic, unfiltered self. The therapeutic relationship you’ll build with her will be your biggest catalyst for real change. Humor, transparency, and introspection guide her therapeutic sessions. She believes that her role as your therapist is to help you untangle your thoughts and experiences so you feel empowered to live a life that you love, with intention. Together you will uncover and challenge patterns of behavior and thinking, and learn to rewrite and reframe negative beliefs. Shannon helps her clients grow, cultivate lasting resilience, and deeper self-compassion.

Shannon uses a variety of Person Centered modalities in her work with clients. She leans into Narrative Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. She is also trained in Creative Expressive interventions to further elicit self-discovery. She works with adolescents (15+) and adult women.

As an ardent reader and an eager traveler, Shannon is constantly seeking out stories—she appreciates that you are the expert of your own and she is enthusiastic about being a part of it.

Shannon operates under the direction of Brittany Hewitt, MA, LPC and under the clinical supervision of Annie Kelahan, LPC.
