About me

Salaam and Namaste!

I am a first-generation Muslim American woman who immigrated from Fiji Islands. As a multi-cultural therapist I strive for cultural competence and recognize the various complexities that establish an individual identity. I am determined to help others as they walk on their own path to find peace and healing. Encompassing the identities of being both a Muslim and an American I strive to help support the men and women in my community on embracing their power and discovering their identities as they navigate on creating a balance between religious obligation and individual values.

I have over 9 years of experience working with couples, veterans, adolescents and adults struggling with mental health needs. My specialty is in trauma care with individuals experiencing PTSD, vicarious trauma, OCD , anxiety ,depression and relational conflicts.

I strive to create a safe place for my clients who come from all backgrounds of life, facilitating compassion and openness. I use a collaborative lens in therapy and work with my client’s in developing a structured and measurable treatment plan that addresses their needs.  By using trauma informed such as EMDR and DBT with a primary base of CBT in my therapeutic modality.

My hope is to help you recognize your strengths so that together we can bring your most authentic self to reality.
