About me

Serat is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with experience working with individuals, couples, families, and groups in community mental health settings. She holds a Master’s degree from University of Southern California in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Having immigrated from India as a young adult, she brings a rich cultural perspective to her work and is especially passionate about supporting fellow immigrants in finding their voice, identity, and path in a new environment. She creates a warm, empathetic space that honors each client’s unique story, drawing on culturally sensitive and evidence-based approaches to foster growth and resilience.

In her therapeutic work, Serat values authenticity, connection, and holistic well-being. She integrates mindfulness and somatic awareness with traditional talk therapy to support clients in aligning with their inner truths.
