I am the owner and founder of Northeast Psychiatry P.C., where I work with adults facing a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, eating disorders, and personality disorders. My practice is dedicated to delivering personalized, evidence based care that addresses each patient’s unique mental health needs. I bring years of diverse clinical experience across several renowned institutions, including Mount Sinai’s Main Campus, Mount Sinai Beth Israel, Queens Hospital, Elmhurst Hospital, and Bronx Lebanon Hospital. I have treated individuals in various high-acuity settings such as the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP), as well as in inpatient units, outpatient clinics, and telepsychiatry.
Additionally, I worked with Equus Workforce Solutions, conducting psychiatric disability assessments for clients affiliated with NYC HRA to support access to vocational rehabilitation or SSI/SSD benefits. My background equips me to handle complex cases with compassionate individualized evidence-based care.
I specialize in medication management, with supportive therapy included to create a comprehensive treatment plan individually tailored to your mental health needs. To make it easier to prioritize your mental health, I offer flexible evening and weekend appointments, so you never have to choose between your well being and your busy schedule.
With a South Asian background and fluency in Urdu/Hindi, I deeply understand the cultural stigma and access challenges many patients face. This insight informs my compassionate, individualized, evidence-based approach, especially for complex cases.
