About me

I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can show up as you are, not as the version of yourself that feels polished or expected to have it all together. One of the most meaningful compliments I’ve received came from a client who told me, “In our culture, there’s an expectation that we have to show up put together, but you just show up like yourself.” As a South Asian American therapist, I understand the pressure to meet expectations while carrying struggles privately, and I hope to create a space where authenticity and honesty feel welcome.
I enjoy working with individuals and families whose lives have been shaped by substance use, including those in recovery, partners, adult children, and parents. My approach is harm-reduction based, and I’m interested in how addiction and recovery impact attachment, trust, relationships, and the ways people learn to care for and protect one another.
I also work with immigrants and children of immigrants exploring bicultural identity, family expectations, belonging, and generational patterns. My approach is relational, warm, honest, and curious. I speak Hindi and Urdu and welcome conversations about culture, identity, family, faith, and the parts of yourself that may feel difficult to explain elsewhere.
