About me

Compassionate Counseling for South Asian well-being.

As a South Asian therapist, I understand the unique challenges and cultural nuances that
individuals and families within our community face. Leveraging my extensive clinical
experience both in India and the U.S., I am dedicated to delivering culturally sensitive and
affirming therapy tailored to the needs of South Asian clients.

I specialize in providing therapy for couples, individuals, and families, utilizing a diverse range
of therapeutic modalities which mainly includes EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), CBT
(Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), mindfulness, and positive
psychology techniques aimed at fostering holistic growth. Additionally, I incorporate attachment-
based theory and FST (Family Systems Therapy) into my practice. My approach is flexible,
allowing me to integrate modalities based on the unique needs of each client.

Growing up in a South Asian household, I understand the complexities of navigating cultural
expectations, family dynamics, and identity struggles that many South Asian individuals face.
I also specialize in working with South Asian immigrants, second-generation individuals, and
families navigating life transitions. Through a collaborative and strengths-based approach, I
empower my clients to harness their resilience, tap into their strengths, and achieve their
therapeutic goals.

Fluent in English, Hindi, and Malayalam, I strive to create a welcoming and inclusive therapeutic
environment for clients from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

During my leisure time, I relish moments spent with my family, and I derive profound
satisfaction from exploring and honing traditional cooking methods. Engaging in the preparation
of South Asian cuisines enables me to foster a deeper connection with my cultural heritage.

I am here to attentively listen and honor your journey towards healing and personal growth. I
invite you to establish a connection with me. Together, I am confident that we can navigate life
challenges and transitions, offering support through every emotion that shapes your identity.
