About me

I am a registered counsellor and a South Asian Woman of Colour, with an Australian-Sri Lankan Bicultural Identity. Through my lived experience I have gained a deep insight into how the cultural contexts in which we live and grow up shape our beliefs, identity, values, family dynamics and world-view. This is why I started a practice that delivers culturally responsive therapy, which is therapy that integrates the unique nuances of your cultural, socio-political and community experiences into the therapeutic process.

I’ve worked with Australia’s leading mental health organisations including Headspace & Mind Australia, supporting people from all walks of life work through complex issues including trauma, family violence, PTSD/CPTSD, relationship/interpersonal issues, & mood disorders such as anxiety & depression.
