About me

Hi, I’m Sanaa. I bring varied experiences and perspectives to my work as a therapist: I’m an entrepreneur, psychotherapist, coach and first generation South Asian Muslim. I bring my lived experience to my work.

I specialize in relationship and individual counseling and in helping highly motivated, creative and sensitive people reach their goals. We will work together to help you build individual strengths and to learn skills in the sessions that you can take with you and apply throughout your life. I use interpersonal neurobiology as the context for the skills I teach.

I offer short, intensive sessions. My goal is to help you find meaning and cultivate fruitful relationships as quickly as possible.

I am also interested in multi-cultural identity and in striking a balance between Eastern and Western cultures. I understand the complexities and the experience of having a South Asian and Muslim background.

My approach is collaborative. We would work together to address your specific needs and your desired goals. Starting therapy can be daunting, as such, I offer a free 10 minute consultation. Please reach out to me via email or text. I look forward to hearing from you.

*If you’re unsure about one-on-one therapy, I also offer an online course  on self-reflection and to help you get the most out of therapy.
