About me

You may find yourself carrying the weight of family expectations, cultural roles, and relationship responsibilities, all while trying to stay true to who you are. When those pressures collide with marriage, dating, or emotional burnout, it can feel exhausting, lonely, and confusing especially when it seems like no one around you truly understands.

You don’t have to carry it all on your own.

As a South Asian Muslim therapist, I specialize in helping couples and individuals navigate the emotional and cultural complexities that often go unspoken. I understand how faith, family systems, and identity can deeply shape our relationships, in both beautiful and painful ways. Therapy with me is a space where you can show up fully, without fear of judgment or having to explain your culture.

I work closely with couples who are struggling with:

  • Communication breakdowns and emotional distance
  • Premarital concerns and early marriage stress
  • Infidelity recovery and rebuilding trust
  • Intimacy challenges and unresolved conflict
  • Navigating family involvement and cultural expectations in marriage

My approach helps couples slow down reactive cycles, rebuild emotional safety, and reconnect in ways that feel aligned with their values.

I also support South Asian women and first-generation individuals navigating:

  • Anxiety, depression, and emotional burnout
  • Generational and cultural trauma
  • Identity concerns, self-worth, and people-pleasing
  • The pressures of being single, whether dating with intention or choosing to be single on purpose

Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you or your relationship. It’s about understanding patterns, healing old wounds, and learning how to live, and love in alignment with who you truly are.

To make therapy accessible, I offer virtual sessions with evening and weekend availability, so you can prioritize your well-being without disrupting your daily responsibilities.

If you’re curious about whether we’d be a good fit, I invite you to reach out for a free 20-minute consultation.
