About me

I am a Bangladeshi-American therapist based in Austin, Texas. I am dedicated to building a therapeutic environment that encourages authenticity, transparency, and compassion. I take a client-oriented approach that centers around my belief that people can take charge of their journey to healing and recovery. I trust that the client is the expert of their own lives, and my role is to consistently empower them to develop toolkits to be able to navigate daily struggles and lived experiences. I am steadfast in my commitment to providing culturally-informed interventions that are tailored to meet the contextual demands of diverse clients.

I am deeply rooted in liberation and anti-oppressive work, practicing from a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, intersectional framework. I strive to encapsulate my own experiences with multiple identities to further support marginalized communities by identifying counseling techniques within the framework of their cultural background, abilities, and support network.
