About me

I am a Registered Social Worker with extensive experience working with individuals, families and groups, offering a strength-based, solution focused practice to clients. I have provided support to clients coping with trauma, mental health symptoms such as anxiety and depression, addictions, and family conflict and parenting.

I employs a client centre, strength based – solution focused approach, that included techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, solution focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. I focus on providing a safe environment that allows individuals to explore emotions while being supported through counselling.

Qualifications: I have a Honours Bachelor in Applied Science, Major Psychology as well as a Master’s in Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University. I am registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.

Languages: I am fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.

The goal is to enhance communication, build trust and work on putting in effort to ensure that your and your partner are able to have a successful and healthy relationship.

Taking the first step to a healthy relationship with all members of your family may be a challenging one, let me help walk you through it. I work with families to build strong, healthy relationships through communication and addressing/working through problems.
