About me

You deserve to be heard and understood, so let’s have a conversation! Life’s challenges and uncertainties have a way of weighing us down. In the face of overwhelming difficulties, navigating our personal, professional, and social lives can be difficult. This can present unique mental health challenges, and it can feel scary and lonely to manage it all alone. If this resonates with you, I want you to know I hear you. I can help you navigate life, work through your challenges, and live life on your terms. Ultimately, you deserve happiness and peace of mind, and together we can take steps to achieve your goals.

As a South Asian immigrant in Canada, I have first-hand experienced the struggles of adapting to a new culture while keeping my cultural values intact. With mental health stigma in the South Asian community, it can be extremely tough to take care of one’s mental health needs. One of my goals is to help individuals navigate their lives as South Asian immigrants, explore biculturalism, and find their unique balance. Additionally, I want to work with clients to decrease mental health stigma and increase access to mental health services for South Asians.

In our work together, we will collaborate in a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space. I offer an empathetic, person-centred, and holistic approach through the integration of culturally-informed therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, narrative therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and strengths-based therapy. Contact me today for a free consultation, and we will explore your story together!

Please see: I offer both in-person and online sessions, and I have a sliding scale ($20-$75) and some pro-bono spots available.
