About me

As an Indo-Guyanese American therapist from an interfaith upbringing, I resonate with and relate to the experience of navigating life at the intersection of multiple cultures and religions. Growing up in a Hindu-Muslim household has given me a deep understanding of how different faiths and cultural experiences can shape your sense of self and your perception of the world. My own life journey has significantly influenced my therapeutic approach, enabling me to help my clients quiet the outside noise and discover their own inner truths and peace.

I specialize in supporting adults and couples who are grappling with identity issues, anxiety around marriage or dating, barriers to relational intimacy, family conflict, codependency on parents or partners, individuation, cultural pressure, and childhood trauma. If you are feeling the stress to be perfect or to find the “right path,” I am here to help you disentangle others’ expectations from your own. My approach integrates Emotion-Focused Therapy with Cognitive Behavioral techniques to help you make decisions that honor yourself and are aligned with your heart. I look forward to joining you on your path towards growth and healing.
