About me

Hi there, my name is Raza, and I am a registered occupational therapist, psychotherapist in Ontario. I would feel privileged to accompany you on your wellness journey. My aim is to create a culturally safe space where we can work collaboratively to support you in identifying opportunities for growth and meaningful change.

How I Can Support You

As a registered occupational therapist, psychotherapist I have worked in both publically and privately funded healthcare settings over the past 3.5 years. I have supported individuals with depression, anxiety, addictions, severe and persistent mental illness, post-traumatic stress as well as workplace trauma and stress injuries.

As a South-Asian man, born to Pakistani immigrants, I have experienced first-hand the limited supports and stigma that still exist in BIPOC communities. The judgement and misconceptions around mental health are still deeply rooted in our spaces, and I am strongly passionate about combatting this stigma.

I aim to provide culturally sensitive services to men living through their mental health challenges in silence. I work through a holistic, trauma-informed lens to validate your experiences and emotions. I will collaborate with you to identify healthier coping strategies, to manage and understand your anxiety, depression, trauma, stress and emotional regulation.

Why Work With Me

I strongly believe that you are the expert in yourself. With compassion and a non-judgmental approach, I want to support you in developing the skills and insight necessary to live a meaningful and purposeful life. Through our work together, I want to equip you with the strategies you will need to manage the day-to-day challenges and roadblocks that are preventing you from achieving personal satisfaction.

Let’s Work Together

Congratulations on taking this step in your wellness journey! I strongly believe that it is vital for you to find the right therapist, someone that creates an environment where you feel safe, where you can be vulnerable, where you can grow. When you feel ready, please contact me to set up a 20-minute consultation call. I look forward to talking with you soon.
