About me

As a person-centred counsellor, and I believe that the way you see and experience the world is crucial in ensuring that you are at the centre of the therapeutic j0urney. I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and I have worked with a variety of diverse clients to gain varied experience in the following areas. Further to this, I have a teaching qualification with significant experience in educational environments.

I provide an inclusive counselling service that offers a safe, non-judgmental space for all clients. Having worked with a diverse range of clients, I appreciate that there may be many different reasons why someone might consider counselling.

As the client, you are the primary focus at all times; counselling sessions will focus on you and your journey. Your journey of growth and development will be supported with care. This ensure that your individuality and uniqueness are the core foundation. My role is to walk alongside you. What you feel, say and experience will be held within the boundaries of confidentiality, safeguarding and ethical working.

I believe that the relationships that we form and the experiences we have can shape way that we understand the world around. As such, exploring these is paramount during the course of the counselling journey.  Having support, an objective ear can help to better understand ourselves and how we relate to others.

Your journey as a client may be related to personal relationships, your working life, family challenges, life events and many other aspects of the world around us. It is important to be aware that you are not alone; you will be heard and listened to. With different roles within our lives, expectations and norms can impact upon the way we live our lives. I appreciate how our experiences can be shaped by culture, identity and awareness.

I believe that understanding how you experience the world and how this impacts upon you is crucial to working safely and effectively. All your concerns will be held, valued and supported to ensure that you are at the centre of the process.
