About me

I believe that we heal through relationships where we feel safe enough to be our authentic selves. Therapy can provide a space where this self is seen and supported. Ideally, we leave therapy with a stronger sense of who we are; this gives us a greater capacity for weathering life’s storms and making meaningful change. I work with clients on issues of emerging adulthood, identity, race, acculturation, issues around one’s sense of self, complex trauma, and emotion regulation.

My approach is grounded in psychodynamic theory but I often draw from other modalities like accelerated experiential dynamic psychotherapy (AEDP), mindfulness, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and feminist therapy.
