About me

Are you looking for someone to lean on and share without judgment? My approach to therapy is listening with an open heart and creating safe space. There was a time I did not speak up and if I did, I would worry about being judged by another person.  I am here today to tell you that a crisis I experienced shifted my life. The crisis was an end of a relationship and a suicide in my family. I ended up going back to school after 20 years in the same occupation and I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor today.

I am a culturally competent counsellor and my interest is personal and family relationships, race-based trauma, anger, ancestral healing, body image and anxiety. I have great listening skills, and I am also intuitive. We will work at your pace and direction and I will introduce new tools, and you can try them and see what works best for you.  There are some clients that would prefer Walk and Talk therapy which I offer and we would meet at a designated space.

In my downtime, I enjoy cooking, yoga, Reiki healing, exercise, learning and the company of family and friends. I speak both English and Punjabi. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in my services. I like to have a 20-minute free introductory phone call beforehand.   Choosing the right counsellor is important and this relationship should feel connective.

Let’s see if we are a fit!
