About me

For many, counselling is an opportunity to evaluate life changes, relationships stressors, and attachment patterns. For others, it can be their only opportunity to emphasize time for themselves and to experience feeling like they are a priority. I recognize the courage and vulnerability it takes to self-reflect and identify areas which you would like to develop insight and emotional intelligence in. I encourage my clients to attach themselves to the process of personal growth and self-discovery rather than simply the end goal, as this creates opportunities to generate self-compassion and gratitude for your strengths and abilities.

My integrative approach pulls from several different theoretical orientations including Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavioural therapy. The aim is for us to explore how your experiences have shaped your emotional reactions and the ability to feel in control and self-aware of your behaviour.

My goal is to help you shape your resilience and instil confidence that you have the capacity to meet life’s challenges without feeling overwhelmed or stuck. I’m currently offering secure Zoom and phone therapy sessions and I welcome you to reach out for a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to determine if I am a good fit for your counselling needs.
