About me

Do you feel like you are never quite doing enough? Maybe you feel numb and burnt out but don’t know how to let yourself stop or relax. You may have trouble accessing your emotions, or you notice that you’re often on an emotional rollercoaster that gets in the way of being fully present to your life. If you feel trapped by uncertainty, cycling thoughts, self-criticism, making decisions, intense emotions, relationships, or trauma symptoms – you have come to the right place. My therapeutic process seeks to understand who you are, who you want to be, and how we can tap into your inner wisdom to enact the change you desire.

I am a Columbia University-trained, second generation Indian American therapist specializing in somatic, experiential and emotion-focused therapy. I integrate my extensive training in both evidence-based behavioral therapy (DBT/CBT) and somatic body-oriented practice to let your nervous system heal in tandem with your mind. I frequently work with high-achieving South Asians who are children of immigrants and struggling to find inner peace and a sense of aliveness despite checking off many of their boxes for external success. My main goal is to make you feel less alone in what you are going through and experience feeling fully seen and heard. From there, I will support you in cultivating skills and designing practical experiments that will reduce your suffering and build your confidence in your ability to thrive. Together, we’ll uncover the roots of your familiar patterns and behaviors that have likely helped you survive some difficult situations – but are keeping you from living the life you deserve.
