As a South Asian therapist, I am deeply committed to supporting individuals navigating the complexities of identity, relationships, and healing within the context of South Asian culture. My work is grounded in cultural connectivity, compassion, and a belief that healing looks different for everyone.
Many of my South Asian clients come to therapy because they are experiencing feelings of depression and anxiety and do not know why. They are carrying pressures that feels difficult to put into words, such as balancing family needs with individual needs, managing guilt or shame, or navigating difficult family relationships and boundaries. These challenges can feel especially layered within South Asian culture and can shape our lives in powerful ways.
As a South Asian woman, I bring both personal understanding and professional insight to therapy with you. I work collaboratively with you to explore these challenges in ways that feel respectful and empowering. I offer a safe, nonjudgemental space where you don’t have to explain cultural dynamics to me in order to feel understood. I am especially passionate about working with South Asian clients who are seeking to heal from relational wounds, navigating intergenerational trauma, or redefining their sense of identity.
Whether you are new to therapy or returning with specific goals, choosing to seek support is a brave and courageous step towards your healing and self-care! Therapy with me is a space to untangle what you’ve inherited from what you truly want for yourself. Together, we can process what feels heavy for you. I will meet you where you are and support you in building a life that feels aligned, meaningful, and true to your values.
I am fluent in Gujarati and Hindi. Ready to take this step? Please reach out to me for a free 15-minute consultation. I look forward to connecting with you!
