I’m a clinical psychologist, who works with adults, teens, and couples to help overcome challenges, heal from trauma, and ultimately reach their full potential. With warmth, understanding, and an emphasis on the therapeutic relationship, I encourage and empower my clients to express themselves freely, build insight, strengthen emotional self-awareness, and promote personal growth. Often described by others as gentle and compassionate, I help people heal through safety, attunement, and understanding their patterns in relationships.
I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, existential concerns, relationship challenges, and periods of transition or uncertainty. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck between competing roles, expectations, or identities, or grappling with questions about meaning, belonging, and connection. My approach is relational and insight-oriented, with an emphasis on helping clients deepen self-understanding, strengthen relationships, and move toward more authentic and fulfilling lives.
I have experience working with individuals across the lifespan and take special interest in working with adults and teens from diverse cultural, racial, and immigrant backgrounds, including adult children of immigrants and individuals from historically marginalized communities. My work is grounded in an understanding of how culture, identity, family systems, and social context shape emotional well-being. I conceptualize cases from a holistic, trauma-informed and psychodynamic lens. I strive to offer a collaborative, thoughtful space where clients feel seen in the fullness of their lived experience.
I also facilitate a weekly interpersonal process group for adults interested in exploring relational patterns in real time within a supportive group setting. This group offers a unique opportunity to build self-awareness, practice vulnerability, and experience meaningful connection with others.
As a couples counselor, I help clients resolve communication problems and intimacy issues, which often go hand in hand. I encourage couples to deepen their relationship with their own self which empowers healing within the partnership.
In addition to my therapy work with individuals and couples, I conduct psychoeducational evaluations for ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), mood and personality disorders, learning difficulties, and other psychological concerns.
I earned my Doctor of Psychology degree and Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Midwestern University. Prior to that, I was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Behavioral Neuroscience from Loyola University Chicago.
