About me

**Accepting clients via telehealth in New Jersey and South Carolina, USA**

I understand that, as a person of color, discussing emotions and feelings may not have always been encouraged or felt comfortable. I completely agree—being vulnerable can be difficult and even scary. You might find it confusing to be in a position where seeking therapy feels necessary or desired. That’s perfectly okay, and I’m here to help you navigate through these layers of emotions and experiences. As a first-generation South Asian, I deeply understand cultural differences, family dynamics, and the impact of unresolved generational trauma.
I am a Nationally Accredited, Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience working with adults and adolescents. My expertise includes anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, substance use issues, life transitions, self esteem, grief, and relationship challenges.
The immigrant experience or being a first or second-generation individual, often carries unique challenges that can be overwhelming or overlooked. I strive to create a space filled with empathy, understanding, and belonging. Together, we will work towards your growth and empowerment, helping you navigate and lighten the emotional weight you may be carrying.
