About me

A robust, frank, non-judgemental and mutually respectful relationship is essential in therapy. I provide a safe and holding space for exploring together what is preventing you from navigating your path less burdened.

Searching for a therapist, I imagine you have already done some challenging work to simply be here – all while managing your heavy load. Wherever we sit in our lives; within our families, personal and work friendships, alone and in society, life is a challenge. Working together can enable blockages to be dislodged, learned patterns of behaviour reflected upon and understood in order to change the way you exist in the world, to make better decisions, create healthy boundaries and to recognise and own your power.

I am integratively trained and use appropriate modalities for your needs. I have a particular interest in:

  • identity
  • migration/displacement
  • individual, ancestral, and collective trauma
  • women’s issues with regard to autonomy, patriarchy, faith and custom/culture
  • parenting and parenting children with additional needs
  • the varying aspects and challenges of motherhood, pregnancy and fertility/infertility.

I can help with most issues, including

  • Anxiety, depression and panic attacks
  • Anger & stress management
  • Bereavement and loss
  • Identity issues/conflict – race, culture, colourism, religion, class, age
  • Parenting issues
  • Pregnancy/Post-natal anxiety or depression
  • Relationship problems –  family, romantic, friendship and work
  • Self-development/ self-esteem
  • Work/ career/ school issues

I speak conversational Punjabi and Urdu.
