About me

Hi there! I’m Muzna and my approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in the belief that everyone deserves:

  • to feel safe
  • to be seen
  • to be supported

I offer a calm, collaborative space where we can make sense of your experiences together, at a pace that feels right for you.

I bring in the Anti-Oppressive lens that takes into account the wider social, cultural, and political context, including the impact of marginalisation and unmet support needs.

As a Pakistani who has lived in three countries and experienced life as an immigrant, I’m deeply passionate about supporting South Asian communities,

  • whether they are navigating life in their home countries,
  • or starting a new life in another country,
  • or split between homelands and cultures.

Life as a South Asian comes with its own unique needs, strengths, and distresses, making it vital to take a cultural lens to support in the best way possible!

Therapy with me is not about fixing, but about creating space to understand yourself with greater clarity, compassion, and agency.

I am trained in third-wave Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (CBT), including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion-focused Therapy (CFT). I also draw on aspects of Person-centred Therapy (PCT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), and take an embodied approach informed by Somatic therapy (SE).  These are used flexibly and collaboratively, with attention to sensory needs, processing styles, and pacing.

If you’re curious about whether this space might be right for you, you’re invited to drop a hello!
