About me

Due to my strong multicultural back ground,I greatly value diversity and have a world based treatment approach. My existential ideology is perfect for an outlook that accepts clients as they choose to be but also gives them the tools to adapt to life circumstances in most optimal way possible.

I bring the insights as well as limitations of modern medicine to my clinical practice. I am very well versed in Eastern thought and culture and open to all kinds of alternative approaches to treatment. My upbringing has emphasized compassion, acceptance and cooperation which I bring to my therapeutic relations.

Munira completed her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health in 2016 as well as successful practicums and internships at Laurel Ridge Treatment Center and Park Village Elementary school both in San Antonio Texas. She has experience with family, couples as well as child and adolescent counseling.  Munira uses multicultural, play therapy and creative counseling techniques as well as strength based / positive approach.

She has always been active in education, outreach and volunteer work with San Antonio agencies such as Red Cross, Haven for Hope and local religious institutions. She, along with her physician husband, advocate for health and wellness as part of his medical practice.
