Therapy can be a space to slow down, understand yourself more deeply, and feel a little less alone in what you’re carrying. I believe meaningful change starts with feeling genuinely heard and understood, so I prioritize creating a space that feels comfortable, collaborative, and human. I especially enjoy working with adolescents and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationships, identity, and major life transitions.
I also believe that understanding ourselves means understanding the context we come from. Our culture, families, communities, identities, and the expectations we grow up with can deeply shape how we see ourselves and how comfortable we feel expressing different parts of who we are. I bring a culturally responsive and anti-racist lens to therapy while remaining curious about what these parts of your life mean to you.
Together, we can make sense of what you’re experiencing, explore patterns that may no longer be working for you, and figure out what moving forward looks like on your terms. I draw from CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and narrative approaches, but I don’t believe therapy should look the same for everyone. Ultimately, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you move forward in a way that feels authentic to you.
Finding the right therapist can take time, so I offer a free initial phone consultation to see if we might be a good fit. If you’re interested in working together or have any questions, feel free to reach out to me by email. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me, and I hope to connect with you soon!
