About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist at Three Oaks Behavioral Health and Wellness.
I received my Bachelors and Masters in Social Work from North Carolina State University.

Growing up in North Carolina as a first generation, South Asian, female- I understand how cultural identity can impact your sense of self and relationships with others.

I started in this field because of an interest in supporting people in their life journeys and exploring dynamics of interpersonal relationships.

My approach to therapy is Strengths-Based and Person-Centered with the goal of meeting individuals where they are.

I will always provide you with compassionate care and practical skills towards your goals. I can support you to explore emotions and respond in a healthy way.  I can help you explore what’s really important to you in many areas of your life. We can work together to clearly communicate your wants and needs to others.

I am passionate about maternal mental health in areas such as first time parenthood, challenging pregnancies, multicultural families, and postpartum concerns.

I have training in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, Level 1 (EFIT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

I absolutely LOVE The Office & Schitts Creek. I enjoy Carolina Hurricanes hockey and live shows. I love spending time with family and friends.

I am currently accepting new clients, let’s connect today!
