About me

Being human is hard. Life can bring on challenges that are difficult to work through without support. As a child of immigrant parents, I understand the complexities of inter-generational trauma. The weight of cultural and societal expectations can take a toll on one’s mental health. Family and religious pressure can also have a negative effect on our own identity and self-perception. I believe that no matter what our past has given us or what our future holds, we are capable of working through our life challenges. My goal as a therapist is to help my clients embrace their authentic self and discover new paths of healing and growth.

I take a person-centered approach to therapy where I place a strong importance on the client-therapist relationship. I want my clients to feel seen and understood. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental environment for those in session through integrative and holistic techniques. I utilize practices that are based on principles of attachment, mindfulness, and self-compassion. I am passionate about inclusion, diversity and de-stigmatizing mental health in minority communities. I take on a social justice lens to help my clients feel empowered in their true authentic self.

Making the decision to see a therapist and starting your own healing journey takes courage. Every individual is unique and so are their reasons for seeking therapy. Together we can take a collaborative approach to find what works best for you!
