About me

“You are worthy of all things that bring you happiness. You deserve to be treated with compassion. Be kind to yourself.”

Hi! I’m Meghan and I’m a third culture South Asian American therapist dedicated to destigmatizing mental health in Desi and other minority communities. My work is built on cultural competency and understanding the many barriers to care unique to minority communities.

Although our culture prioritizes physical health, we rarely ever discuss mental health. This can make it so hard to have kindness and compassion for ourselves when we realize we’re struggling. I tailor treatment plans to each individual client’s personal background and social position.

I firmly believe that each of us is doing the best we can with the hand we were dealt. No matter what you’ve been through I want you to know that you are not alone. Healing from trauma and taking care of your mental health is an ongoing process, and I’d love to opportunity to be a part of your journey.

I currently offer remote teletherapy sessions for folks in New York, New Jersey, and also based internationally so please feel free to reach out to for a complimentary consultation. I look forward to hearing from you!
