About me

My name is Meena and my therapy and coaching practice centers around empowering you to turn your change thoughts into action. I love my job as a therapist, coach and educator. My therapy clients are located in Wisconsin and Minnesota, while my coaching clients live anywhere in the nation. My practice is mostly based virtually and is private pay (I do supply you with documents to submit to your insurance for reimbursement).

I specialize in helping first generation Desi immigrants address mental health concerns, explore their identity, and navigate life transitions. I am client-centered, meaning you make your goals and together we decide how you will achieve them. I utilize talk therapy, mindfulness, art/creative outlets, and other strategies that work for you. Specifically, I provide CBT (depression and anxiety), ERP (OCD), EMDR (childhood trauma and single event trauma), DBT (emotional regulation), and a culturally attuned approach.

As a therapist, coach, and wellness provider; I believe that social justice is critical and am dedicated to promoting racial equality and creating safe spaces for those who identify as LGBTQA. I also specialize in working with 1st and 2nd gen South Asian women. I also am passionate about neurodivergent skill building and coaching. I actively work towards creating a decolonized practice that addresses inequalities in the mental health system, as well as privilege in the provider-client relationship.
