About me

I provide therapy virtually for South Asian women (ages 25-50) living in North Carolina and Wisconsin who are ready to address and treat anxiety, depression, OCD, or trauma. My main areas of interest are the effects of the immigrant experience and biculturalism on mental health and wellness. I also am well versed in queer, transgender, and non-binary needs in treatment. Therapy with me provides clients with a culturally sensitive experience, as I work with clients closely to create a practice that incorporates evidence based practices in a non-oppressive environment.

As the daughter of immigrants, I provide a unique cultural lens through which I provide therapy. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Motivational Interviewing. I provide EMDR therapy and other evidenced based trauma treatments as well. I also am a yoga teacher and implement movement and mindfulness into sessions if needed.
