About me

As a first-generation immigrant and child of immigrants, I understand how cultural expectations, family dynamics, and generational pressures can affect mental health. Many South Asians grow up feeling caught between cultures, navigating questions of identity, belonging, and self-worth.

I provide a supportive, culturally responsive space for South Asian individuals, first-generation immigrants, women, and young adults to explore identity, relationships, boundaries, and intergenerational stress. I am mindful of how collectivist values, faith, and cultural traditions shape emotional experiences, as well as how stigma around mental health can make seeking support feel difficult. I also work with clients managing women’s health concerns and chronic pain, recognizing the mind–body connection.

My approach is collaborative and individualized, drawing from CBT, EMDR, CPT, and DBT, alongside strength-based, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive practices. My goal is to help clients build insight, balance, and self-acceptance in ways that feel authentic and sustainable.
