About me

If you’re a South Asian young professional (ages 22 to 35) attempting to navigate challenges around anxiety, self-esteem or relationships, I see and hear where you’re coming from. Although you may view the world from a primarily western lens, you’re probably still navigating life between two worlds. This can often involve trying to meet expectations that you’ve internalized over many years along with managing feelings of guilt, shame and resentment. In some cases, you may try to find relief from these difficult emotions by overusing social media, watching hours of entertainment, immersing yourself in work or using food as an escape.

As a counsellor, my role is to work with you in digging deeper, reflecting and moving towards meaningful change utilizing a variety of empirically proven therapeutic approaches. I will also consistently work to support you from an empathetic and non-judgmental approach alongside obtaining regular feedback to ensure that I am meeting your needs.

After some years in corporate, I have been fortunate to have found my passion in helping others through being a therapist and a professor. As a result, lifelong learning is something I always aim to embody to support my clients.
