About me

Adulting is hard and can be even more difficult when you are managing cultural expectations with your own goals and life choices.  There are many beautiful aspects of South Asian culture, but when we are raised in America surrounded by Western culture, it can result in a lifelong struggle feeling like you’re in the middle, not Indian enough, not American enough.

As a child of immigrant parents, I understand the expectations to be the “good girl,” expectations to succeed, and unhealthy family dynamics.  Whether you are struggling with transition to young adulthood, the demands of parenthood, the confines of family expectations, or the burden of past life experiences, I’m here to help you find more balance, joy, and calmness in your life.

I want to help my clients feel validated in their life experience while also leaving each session feeling a little lighter and a little more hopeful about their own capabilities.  I believe that you know yourself best and want to unpack the areas of your life that matter most to you.  I would love to learn your story and help you build on your strengths and inherent resilience. I believe that every individual deserves compassion when sharing their truth. If you are ready to take that leap, I am here to listen and support you along the way.  You deserve to be heard.

I offer a 15 minute consultation call at no charge so you can decide if I may be the right fit for you.

I accept the following insurances: Aetna, Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Oscar, Oxford, and United Healthcare.  I partner with Headway so your insurance can be verified prior to your first session.
