About me

As a person of South Asian descent and a first generation American, I can relate to the immigrant experience as well as the experience of being the child of immigrants. I have a unique experience of cultural acceptance, diversity, interracial relationships and family transition.

I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and family dynamics. My experience includes working at residential, inpatient, partial hospitalizations and intensive outpatient levels of care with adolescents and adults. I believe that people should feel comfortable, confident, and have a sense of belonging in their own communities. I believe that the client is the expert on themselves and therefore approach counseling as a collaboration between myself and the client.

It’s not easy taking the first step and reaching out; I’m so glad you’ve made it this far! Please reach out and schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to see if we are a good fit. I offer sessions in person and virtually with flexible hours and immediate availability.
