If you’re someone who is struggling to prioritise your mental health, unable to create time for self care and feeling stuck with your negative thoughts – I am here to support you. I work with BIPOC adults, South Asian folks, Women, college students, immigrants, tech workers, LGBTQ+ folks, other therapists, and first timers in therapy. Based on your life experiences, cultural background, and goals, I will tailor therapy to meet your needs. Using a range of evidence-based techniques, I will work with you to help you see your thoughts more clearly and build emotional regulation skills. My aim is to help you feel empowered with your Mental Health Well – Being with insight and coping strategies.
I have a master’s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, and I have experience working with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship and dating issues, self harm, non-offending sexual behaviors, pornography addiction and substance use. I am also specialised in working with South Asian Mental Health around societal expectations, setting boundaries with family and navigating high functioning anxiety/depression.
I grew up in India, and have lived in the UK and the US, which gives me an integrated sense of the world. I am grateful and take pride in being a South Asian woman. Watching my plants grow, one leaf at a time is one of the most grounding ways of coping that I have experienced.
If you find this relatable, I would love to connect with you on a 15 minutes free consultation call. This will help us understand your needs and determine whether we would be a good fit together.
