About me

There are many reasons for why you might be looking for a therapist – difficulty setting boundaries, voicing how you feel, understanding yourself better, or managing expectations or a distressing life experience.  You may be feeling stuck, sad, alone, overwhelmed, confused, guilty, or irritated.

What you are feeling is valid. It is important to find a therapist you can develop a solid relationship with.

My style is relational, collaborative, and engaged. I meet clients where they are at with understanding and empathy to help them achieve the goals they set for themselves. I build safe and trusting relationships with my clients and we work together as a team to talk openly, explore, and find patterns.

My focus, trainings and experiences relate to addressing trauma experiences, self worth, anxiety, life transitions, and identity exploration. As an immigrant and a child of immigrants, I am aware of the challenges that come with growing up in two cultures. I address the impact of generational change, cultural influence, as well as family of origin issues.

Beginning therapy is exciting and refreshing for some people, for others it may feel overwhelming and scary. No matter what your thoughts and feelings are regarding therapy, I am happy to work with you. Together, we will help you find your voice and build your inner strength.
