About me

Therapy for when you’re tired of pretending everything’s fine.

You’ve always had a lot on your plate. Juggling family expectations, responsibilities, and the unspoken rule that your needs come last. Maybe you were raised to be strong before you even knew what that meant. Maybe you learned early that feelings weren’t something you talked about, especially not fear, sadness, or frustration. And now, even though you’ve accomplished so much, something feels off. You’re overwhelmed, burned out, and unsure how to slow down without feeling like you’re letting your family down.

I work with South Asian adults who are ready to stop carrying the weight of everyone else’s expectations. My clients are often the ones everyone else leans on: the eldest child who figured it out, the one who got the degree and the job and still feels empty, the person who has spent their whole life trying not to disappoint anyone. They’re proud of where they come from. But they’re also exhausted by the pressure to keep the family proud, to never burden anyone, to always have it together.

In our work together, we make room for both: your family, your culture, your sense of duty, and your own voice. We challenge the idea that needing help means weakness or bringing shame on yourself or your family, and instead treat therapy as a place to finally exhale. You don’t have to perform strength or gratitude or okayness here. You just get to be honest.

If you’re ready to stop carrying it alone, I’m here when you’re ready.
