About me

Living in a household where your parents don’t understand you because they don’t agree with American culture and values can be rough. Do you find yourself struggling to communicate with your parents or family because of cultural differences? Is mental health still a stigma in your family? Let’s talk. I speak English, Punjabi and Hindi fluently and have a great passion in working with teens, adults, and families struggling with communication and identity.

As a brown therapist, I understand the barriers and would like to help you reach your goals. I specialize in immigrant families and I am especially passionate about working with first generation young adults. As a baby immigrant myself, growing up in a traditional Punjabi household in America, I struggled with my identity between the Indian and American cultures so I know firsthand the challenges of being brown in America. Together, we can work on your current challenges and help you reach your goals. I look forward to your call/email!
